A very prominent write once wrote and said, “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”-Nelson R. Mandela
Our audacious campaign dares us to be bold and brave enough to do things that the community would see as crazy or unthinkable and that’s when we actually invited people to share their fears with us and we discovered that not every fear is as big as the community would think.
There are people with the fear of being in closed spaces (claustrophobia) or the fear of balloons (globophobia) or fear of clowns (Coulrophobia). We thought we would encounter the same basic fear of snakes or fear of heights.
This made us realize that a lot of people do not reach their full potential because of fears that can be easily conquered and of course with us there to help them conquer their fear we might be opening a whole new level of boldness and a daring spirit amongst the young people.
As we Journey this life now filled with much courage than before, I leave you with these words;
“You have to believe in yourself. You need to have the audacity to be great.”- Rosie Perez
