To date, the University of Johannesburg (UJ) has accredited three SouthPoint buildings for your comfort and stay. These buildings are, KSI House and Norvic House in Braamfontein (closest to APK campus) together with Relyant in Doornfontein (closest to DFC campus).

Step 1: Make sure you are on the approved funding list.

Step 2: Make your booking online at book.staysouthpoint.co.za, log in/register your profile and select one of the abovementioned buildings (KSI House, Norvic or Relyant). Note that you may only select double-sharing spaces.

Step 3: Finalise your booking and ignore any costs the system may require.

Step 4: Proceed to our SouthPoint offices immediately. You have within 24 hours to sign and finalise your lease. Be sure to bring along your ID, student card & mobile device.

Important: Please note that as per agreement with your institution, there are no deposits or top-ups required for your stay as a UJ NSFAS beneficiary at our KSI, Norvic or Relyant buildings.

WITS NSFAS

Located close to the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) – you can close any of our Braamfontein student buildings as your building of choice as a Wits NSFAS beneficiary.

Step 1: Visit book.staysouthpoint.co.za, log in/register your profile and make your building and room selection. Note that your bursar primarily covers the costs for sharing rooms. Should you wish to stay in a single room a top-up fee would be required.

Step 2: Select “Generate Quote” upon making your room selection. Be sure to download the quotation generated and have this mailed to your Wits Financial Aid office for confirmation.

Step 3: Finalise your booking and ignore any costs the system may require.

The following payments would be required as a NSFAS Wits beneficiary, prior to moving in:

  • A refundable deposit of R500 would be required. You can move-in and settle the deposit later should you be unable to do so immediately.

  • Top-up fee for single rooms: an additional amount of R 7,200 * would be required for staying in a single-room (this excludes bookings for, 46 De Korte, Clifton Heights & 56 Jorissen – kindly enquire for costs).

Step 4: Upon making payment & emailing the generated quote, be sure to await your Confirmation Letter of Funding from your Wits Financial Aid office.

Step 5: Once your confirmation letter has been attained – proceed to our offices at South Point Central, 17 Melle Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg to finalise your lease. Be sure to bring along the following particulars:
