PE is all about beach lifestyle and most of the city’s entertainment happens along the coastline, where chilled sundowners punctuate the end of an outdoorsy day and the night-life vibe is unpretentious and downright friendly.

Since PE is known as the water-sport capital of South Africa you just can’t let go to waste all that this friendly beach town has to offer: try diving (there’s a fantastic coral reef or two), yachting, chilled boat cruises, windsurfing and/or adventurous river rafting anything goes as long as it’s on the water.
